Today, Console was named a Sample Vendor in Gartner’s just-published Hype Cycle for AI in ITSM, 2026 under Digital Workplace Operations Automation (DWOA), a new, emerging category Gartner mentions as Transformational.
DWOA marks a shift in how organizations approach automation. Rather than helping teams do work more quickly, DWOA platforms integrate directly into the organization to complete the work for them.
Gartner gives DWOA platforms a “Transformational” benefit tag , and expects mainstream adoption within two to five years.
Where Console fits
Console maps and expands upon each of these.
Console acts across systems and teams to achieve complex workflow outcomes. Its agents are self-adjusting, improving over time as they learn from new data. And rather than running as a set of separate tools, Console spans the full range of workplace operations, spanning requests, access, assets, identity, and automation.
